Location: Chepstow

Pay: £13.45 per hour PAYE

Hours: 20 hours per week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–7:30pm

Contract: Term Time Only

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Cleaning & Hygiene Operative to work within a school environment in Chepstow.

Duties include:

• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and washing floors
• Dusting and polishing
• Emptying bins
• Cleaning toilets and sanitary areas
• Cleaning walls and other surfaces as required
• Safely using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Using vacuum cleaners and polishing/scrubbing machines
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Reporting faulty cleaning equipment
• Following Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or hygiene experience
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–7:30pm
• Reliable and able to work to required cleaning standards
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake relevant training
• Appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS with Children's Barred List Check
