Jazz Pharmaceuticals is looking for an intern to support the implementation of field force effectiveness initiatives and contribute to communication planning for the Customer Strategy and Operational Excellence (CSOE) regional functional area

Qualification Requirements

The ideal candidate will have completed a bachelor’s degree in

  • International Business
  • Finance
  • Economics
  • Life Sciences,
  • or a related field

Prior internship or project experience in a healthcare, consulting, or commercial setting is an advantage

Fluency in English required; additional European languages (Especially German) are a plus

Salary - £26,000 per annum

Working Hours
Monday to Friday,

Start Time -8.30am
End Time– 5.30pm
Lunch – 12.30pm – 1.30pm

Duration - 12 months

Start Date - 5th January 2026

Job Description

This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Field Excellence within a dynamic, international pharmaceutical environment undergoing strategic transformation. The intern will support the implementation of field force effectiveness initiatives and contribute to communication planning for the Customer Strategy and Operational Excellence (CSOE) regional functional area. Working alongside cross-functional teams, the intern will gain exposure to the commercial foundations that underpin launch excellence and strategic execution across the region

Essential Functions/key Responsibilities

Field Excellence Support (approx. 70%)

  • Assist in the preparation and validation of CRM and dashboard tools used to monitor field activity and performance.
  • Support the development of training materials and documentation for SFE tools (including but not limited to CRM, Veeva Link) usage and best practices.
  • Contribute to segmentation and targeting exercises, including data preparation and system updates.
  • Conduct analysis of field activities, brand performance, sales data sharing insights with internal stakeholders to enable business decisions
  • Collaborate with the Field Excellence team to identify and document best practices across affiliates.
  • Build strong working relations with key stakeholders.

CSOE Communication Implementation (approx. 30%)

  • Work closely with the Customer Experience Manager and Personal Assistant for the CSOE area to support communication planning and execution for CSOE initiatives in the region.
  • Assist in the creation of internal communication assets (e.g. slide decks, newsletters, updates) to support programme visibility and engagement.
  • Help coordinate stakeholder input and feedback loops to ensure alignment and clarity in messaging.
  • Track and report on communication activities and outcomes to support continuous improvement.
  • Support internal communication efforts that contribute to broader transformation initiatives, including launch readiness and capability uplift across EU/International markets.

Candidate Requirements

Skills required:

  • Demonstrated interest in commercial operations, data analytics, and strategic communication within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience supporting documentation and project tracking. Competent in the use of Power Bi would be desirable.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in managing tasks and timelines
  • Comfortable working in a remote, cross-functional environment and handling confidential information with discretion
  • Foundational understanding of international business, finance, and economics, gained through academic studies
  • Exposure to transformation and change management through internship experience
  • Awareness of stakeholder engagement principles, workshop design, and qualitative analysis, developed through academic and project work
  • Interest in the Healthcare industry through university coursework or internship projects
  • Demonstrated adaptability and resilience through academic, voluntary, or extracurricular experiences
  • Not essential, but it would be advantageous if you are proficient in at least one European language (ideally German), with a strong interest in multicultural engagement and global perspectives
