Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to their team ahead of upcoming work scope. You’ll be based in the Glasgow area.

Hourly Rate: £15.24 + 10% shift allowance

Shift Pattern (once trained):

• Day: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am – 1.30pm 
• Night: Monday – Thursday 2pm – 10m, Friday 2pm – 9.30pm

The below roles are available on a permanent basis:

Deburr Operator

• Operate deburring tools such as hand files, sanders, grinders and rotary tools
• Inspect parts for burrs, sharp edges, and other surface defects
• Follow blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards to ensure precise finishes

Plating Operator

• Operating manual chemical plating lines as required in various coatings including Zinc, Zinc-nickel, Electroless nickel, Gold, and Silver
• Monitor production tanks by analysis and make chemical additions as required
• Carry out X-ray testing for thickness of various coatings

Masking Operator

• In-house training in all aspects of masking for painting and anodising
• Produce components in line with delivery requirements against agreed schedules
• Complete job cards with all relevant details of process carried out
